The challenge was an amazing experience. Filming was so challenging because we have never done anything like that. We made a video where phones were the main characters, it was a really unique video, with a tragic ending. It was so hard to shoot because we were recording phones, and we had to be careful with the reflection of the phones so it didn't show us recording. Everything went well though, even the editing process. Moreover, then we went to Jackson High School, and we had so much fun. I even learned some new dance moves. Then during the screening we found out that our video was shown. We were so happy and excited it was an amazing experience. But wait theres more, our video actually won for best use of prop, it was so crazy because we actually aim to win best use of prop.
The anime club was a promotional video that Rafael Ledesma and I produced when our teacher was for a month.
What an experience. We got to New York early in the morning, so we had to wait for a while. After got we got to see so many short films on the big screen which inspired me so much. One of my my favorite video was Sloppy Seconds, it was a music video and it was so well directed, my friends and I really enjoyed it. We got to see many documentaries like CODA, which it was the stories of Children of Deaf Adult. So many good videos, I really loved the trip, I can't wait for next year.
Kelly Velez was a great speaker. She talked to us about the real world, and how hard it is. She said how Bill Clinton glowed. It was very interesting of she talked about the different jobs she had and how you need to know people to get. She told us to follow our dreams and to never give up.
This video is about the angels and the demon. The angels are trying to escape from a dark world, but the demons are trying to capture them to make them into their slaves. We recorded it in a parking lot and you can't even tell. People loved this video. It's like a pre-story that leads into a dance.
One of my friend Brianna asked me to help her name a video for our principal who is retiring. The video is about interviews and words that describe Mrs.Dowd. We showed it at the spaghetti dinner and it made her cry! We are going to miss her so much
The trip was amazing1 I met so many people and we also went to different workshops. Even though we got there a little bit late, we made it just in time for the special effects workshop which thought us how to create fake blood and more. the other workshop (down and dirty) thought us different techniques that we can use while recording. I really enjoyed this trip!
This was the best experience ever. We had a week to come up with a short film (only 3 minutes) and everything had to be done by friday. On Monday when our teacher sent us the email, my friends and I were so exited and we had so many different ideas. My team had so many ideas, however we did not have enough time to produce it. On Tuesday and Wednesday we recorded and edited and everything was going amazing. On Thursday we recorded more and on Friday we finished editing. In addition, we also had a party on Friday and we saw everyone's videos which were amazing. Also a big thanks to Kimberly Cardona for letting us use her house to crate our film.
This video was so cool to shoot! We had to use the technique called Parallel Editing whereby cutting occurs between two or more related actions occurring at the same time in two separate locations and in the end the two scenes collide to become one. However, when editing this video the computer was being so slow!! A big thanks to Ms.Gill for being in our video.
This music video was so intense. The dance was choreographed by the wonderful Ms.Hersh. This was also my first time acting which I would love to do it again. My favorite part was watching Rafael Ledesma do the make-up. I really hope you enjoy the video because we worked really hard on it!
